Since 2009, Foundation FSSC has been the leading, non-profit, and independent provider of certification Schemes for ISO-aligned Management Systems.
More than 37.500 organizations worldwide, including premium A-brands, are certified to the FSSC 22000 Scheme for Food Safety Management Systems. The FSSC 24000 Social Sustainability Scheme was published in 2022.
The Finance Manager will report to Cornelie Glerum, Chief Operating Officer.
Vacancy Finance manager
The Finance Manager is responsible for financial stability by overseeing the organization's financial health, optimizing financial performance, and aligning financial strategies with organizational goals to support growth and sustainability.
Key result areas
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial processes to support organizational goals.
- Analyze financial performance and data to provide decision-making insights and minimize financial risks.
- Review financial statements, management reports, and regulatory filings.
- Implement controls to ensure financial laws, regulations, and internal policies compliance.
- Monitor and manage cash flow and forecast to maintain liquidity and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with other departments to streamline financial strategies with business objectives and provide financial input on projects, investments, and growth opportunities.
- Ensure the effective use of financial software and tools.
- Drive improvements in financial processes through automation and technology adoption.
- Coaching financial colleague and provide administrative financial support.

Ideal Finance Manager
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Proven track record of at least 10 years in finance or accounting roles
- Thorough knowledge of general accounting principles
- Familiarity with financial software, preferably Exact, and advanced Excel skills
- Proven organizational and management skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Outstanding result-driven analytical and problem-solving abilities for improving processes and increasing efficiency
- Intercultural awareness and sensitivity
- Ability to read, write and speak English at a high proficiency level
